Livani is a traditional religious holy incense used in Orthodox churches. Used together with a Livanistiri (incense burner) in conjunction with a charcoal bead.
Practice in many faiths, incense burning is part of a ritual to connecting with the divine as the resin melts on top of the charcoal, this symbolises faith and part of prayer and healing.
