Eid Mubarak is an Arabic term that means “Blessed feast/festival'”. The term is used by Muslims all over the world. Eid al-Fitr, which marks the end of Ramadan, a month of which Muslims fast daily from before dawn until sunset. This is one of the most sacred times for Muslims. It is the month in which it is believed that the Holy Qur'an was sent down from heaven "as a guidance for men and women, a declaration of direction, and a means of salvation."
It is commemorated by a prayer service in the morning, followed by meals and celebration with friends and family. A special time to give gifts to loved ones.
